"Decent Deal, I Think?"
I paid less than I thought I would, and it works fine with my DVDs. I was kind of confused at first because I expected it to be more expensive or maybe not work as well, but so far it’s been totally fine. Good value overall, no real complaints yet.

"I found this easy to use..."
I found this easy to use, honestly. There wasn’t much of a learning curve or anything that made me stop and figure things out for too long, which I appreciated. It basically did what I needed it to do without causing a bunch of extra hassle, and sometimes that’s really all I’m looking for

"Surprisingly clean video output"
I used WinXDVD to convert a few old videos, i wasn’t totally sure what to expect. I kind of assumed the quality might take a hit, but the videos came out looking really clean. The picture stayed sharp, the colors looked normal, and nothing turned into that blurry mess I was worried about. Maybe I’m just easy to impress, but I’m happy with how it turned out.

"Batch converting worked well, but I felt a bit misled"
I’ve mostly been using winxdvd to convert a bunch of old clips in one go, the batch processing part worked really well. I could just add the whole folder, start it up, and leave it running, which saved me a lot of time.

That said, I did feel a little misled by how it was presented, like I expected everything to be a bit more straightforward from the start. Once I figured it out, though, it handled some big files without crashing or freezing, and the settings were simple enough. Overall, I’m still happy with it so far.

"Glad I Trusted My Instinct on This"
I had a feeling hardware acceleration would make a difference, and I’m glad I trusted my instinct. My old laptop is converting videos so much faster now, and the fan isn’t freaking out like it used to. i’m happy with it.

"Subtitles finally worked without the headache"
I was feeling mentally drained after messing with subtitles on this old movie for way too long, but WinX DVD actually worked the way I needed it to. The subtitles stayed in sync, and I was able to choose the right track without a hassle, which had been my biggest issue before. Happy with it overall

"Trial was limited, but it helped me decide"
I tried WinXDVD through the free trial first, and yeah, it’s definitely a bit limited. You can’t fully test everything, which was a little annoying, and if I couldn’t get a decent feel for it I probably would’ve just moved on to something else.
That said, setup was simple and I was able to test a short video without any hassle. The speed seemed good on my laptop too, so it gave me enough confidence that the software would actually do what I needed.
I ended up buying it after the trial. I do think they should let you do a little more before paying, because some people might leave before giving it a fair shot, but overall it was fair enough and not stressful.

"I was happy with how this handled my..."
I was happy with how this handled my old DVD collection. It read most of them without any fuss, including a couple that other programs just wouldn’t deal with, which gave me a good impression right away. One disc still refused to cooperate, so it’s not perfect, but overall it feels dependable and worth using. I’d give it 4 stars...

"Works fine, but kind of a hassle"
It did convert my DVD to MP4 and MOV without any real issues, so I’ll give it that. There are a lot of format options, which is nice, but it felt a bit more annoying to deal with than it needed to be

"Honestly surprised the audio stayed perfectly in sync"
I tried WinXDVD on a couple of old concert DVDs, mostly hoping the audio wouldn’t drift like it has with other tools. To my surprise, everything stayed matched up really well, drums, vocals, people talking between songs, all of it lined up like it should.
One disc usually starts going out of sync around the 20-minute mark, so I was expecting the same problem again, but the rip came out totally fine. The settings were simple enough to figure out too, so overall I’m happy with how smoothly it went.

"Fast video converting, happy with it"
I tried converting a few videos with it and, the speed was the first thing I noticed. Like... I expected to sit there waiting for a while, especially with one bigger file, but it finished way faster than I thought it would.

The whole thing was straightforward too. I didn’t have to mess around too much or figure out a bunch of settings, which I appreciate because I just wanted the videos converted and done.

Not much to complain about, really. It did what I needed, saved me some time, and yeah, I’d use it again if I had more videos to convert.

"Blu-ray Worked Without Any Drama"
I ran into a little trouble with a Blu-ray disc and wasn’t sure what was going on, so I reached out for help. Support got back to me quickly, and after following their suggestion, everything worked just fine. Nice and easy in the end, so I’m happy with the experience.

"Way faster than what I used before"
I’ve used a few DVD ripping tools in the past, and this one is much quicker. It ripped my DVDs fast without making me sit around waiting forever...

"Works okay, but the reminders are too much"
The app works fine for the most part, but it does crash every now and then, which gets annoying. What bothers me more are the nonstop reminders—they feel way too aggressive and pop up more than they should. It’s usable, but definitely could be smoother.

"Pretty easy setup and got it working"
I downloaded WinX DVD from the website and the install went smoothly overall. Windows did throw a couple extra permission popups at me, and the first time opening it took a little longer than I expected, but nothing weird showed up and I didn’t see any toolbars or bundled junk trying to sneak in. I pasted in my license key and it activated without any trouble, which felt like a small win after dealing with software installs before. Taking off one star because the setup screens could be a bit clearer, but it worked fine in the end.

"Pretty steady and rarely crashes"
I’ve been using WinX DVD for a while now, and it almost never crashes on me. I think it happened once when I had a bunch of other stuff open, but overall it’s been really solid. You know how annoying it is when software freezes and makes you restart everything, so it’s nice when something just works.

"Runs fine on Windows"
Tried WinX DVD on my Windows 11 laptop, quick install, opened right up, no crashes. Also ran it on my old Windows 10 PC and it worked fine there too. Nice when software just works without extra hassle.

"Good compression with a small quality dip"
I used WinX DVD to shrink a few large videos, and it worked well. The files ended up a lot smaller, and the compression was kinda impressive. There was a tiny bit of quality loss, but not enough to really bother me. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 stars.
